Hello! I’m Tessa!
I've been taking photos for as long as I can remember. Starting in the dark room developing black and white film at my art high school in Tacoma, WA. To then switching to digital my senior year and falling more in love with photography then before. The digital darkroom was my oyster.
When I became a mother in 2014 I've realized the deep aches for how quickly these moments fade and just how precious these mundane yet sacred moments are. To pause a moment and preserve it was invaluable. I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to honoring these long days and short years. As a mother time goes by so slow and fast simultaneously and before you know it you can look up and your kids are graduating high school and getting married.
